Healthy Vegan Chocolate Brownie Recipe

It’s been so long since I shared a new recipe on this blog with you guys! I promise I will post recipes here more regularly from now on. Today I have a perfect easy and healthy vegan chocolate brownie recipe for you. This recipe is refined sugar free, oil free and, like I mentioned, vegan. Plus, its made with only six main ingredients. How simple is that?

There are few different recipes for chocolate brownies on my blog, but they are totally different kind of brownies. If you make brownies using this recipe you will get more cakey and fluffy brownies. Note: you will need about 40 minutes to make this recipe, from start till the end.

The quantities for this recipe are quite small, so you will need small to medium baking tray (see the picture above). You can substitute spelt flour with all-purpose flour, but spelt flour is more nutrient rich and better for your body. You can of course also use any other kind of plant-based milk, it doesn’t have to be almond milk.

Time of baking depends on how big your baking tray is. The bigger the tray, the less time it takes to bake them. I baked it for about 30 minutes. Before you take it out of the oven, check the batter with sharp knife. If the knife comes out clean, that means the brownies are done.

You can top them with shredded coconut or cacao powder at the end. But they are perfectly fine without any toppings also.
