Creamy Blueberry Protein Smoothie

We, here at Health Over Heels, can’t get enough of this delicious creamy blueberry protein smoothie. As it says in the name, it’s packed with plant-based protein, fiber and is super creamy! And who doesn’t like a creamy smoothie? 🙂 Because it contains a good amount of plant-based protein, this smoothie is a perfect summer breakfast or a nourishing meal after a workout.

 

This recipe is of course VEGAN, GLUTEN FREE and refined SUGAR FREE, as it contains only natural sugars from fruits. If you want to make it super chilled and creamy, we recommend adding some ice cubes in there, or use frozen banana and blueberries instead of fresh ones.

Delicious Creamy Blueberry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 handful Spinach
  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • 1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Flaxseeds
  • pinch of Cinnamon
  • 3 Ice Cubes
  • 2 cups Water

Instructions

  1. Peel the banana and wash spinach.
  2. Put all the ingredients in high speed blender and mix until smooth.
  3. Enjoy.
