The Best Vegan Millet Apple Porridge

So we are ready to present to you recipe for the best vegan millet apple porridge out there! Are you excited or what! 🙂 Jokes aside, this is truly one of our favorite breakfast recipes ever. It’s perfect for chilly mornings when you need a big warm hug in the bowl.

As stated in the title, this recipe is VEGAN, plus, it’s GLUTEN FREE, refined SUGAR FREE and oh so delicious.

P.s. You can also make it the night before and just heat it up and add toppings in the morning. Perfect for those busy week mornings.

The Best Vegan Millet Apple Porridge

Serves: 1 Prep Time: Cooking Time:


  • 1/3 cup Millet
  • 1 cup Plant-based Milk (we used almond milk)
  • 1 medium Apple
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • sprinkle of Organic Vanilla Powder
  • pinch of Salt


  1. Chop the apple into small pieces, like shown in the picture. Save 1/3 of chopped apple for the toppings at the end.
  2. Put milk, 2/3 chopped apple and millet in a small saucepan and cook on the stove over a medium heat for about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  3. After 5 minutes, add cinnamon, salt and vanilla powder in the saucepan and mix well. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from the stove and pour the porridge into a cute bowl, so it’s prepared for the toppings.
  5. Now the fun part begins! Top the porridge with the remain chopped apple, chopped almonds and few blueberries. But honestly, you can top it with whatever you want! 🙂
